Sonic Vortex Volume 1 ini adalah sebuah kompilasi yang diinisiasi oleh Mindblasting Netlabel. Awalnya adalah untuk mengumpulkan karya karya noise/experimental dari nusantara. Sepanjang rentang tahun 2016 sampai 2020 ini banyak sekali aktivitas dari penyuka noise dan experimental di Indonesia. Kompilasi ini mencoba mengumpulkan materi materi dari noise/experimental project yang saat ini bertebaran. Akan tetapi antusiasme untuk ikut andil dalam kompilasi ini ternyata juga merambah ke Singapore dan Malaysia. Beberapa noise artist juga mengirimkan track nya untuk diikutkan.
Sonic Vortex Volume 1 ini merupakan gambaran betapa bervariasinya noise/experimental di Indonesia saat ini, ditambah lagi dari Singapura dan Malaysia.

Sonic Vortex Volume 1 is a compilation initiated by Mindblasting Netlabel. Initially it was to collect noise / experimental works from the archipelago. Throughout the years 2016 to 2020 there were a lot of activities from noise and experimental enthusiasts in Indonesia. This compilation tries to collect material from noise / experimental projects that are currently scattered. However, the enthusiasm to take part in this compilation apparently also spread to Singapore and Malaysia. Some noise artists also send tracks to be included.
Sonic Vortex Volume 1 is a picture of how varied noise / experimental is in Indonesia today, plus Singapore and Malaysia.
